Plaintiff, a guest in Defendant's home, slipped and fell while walking down interior staircase from bedroom to main floor, and filed personal injury action alleging failure to properly maintain stairway, including failure to install handrail. Court properly granted summary judgment for Defendant. There were no eyewitnesses to fall, and no testimony or affidavits address issue of what caused Plaintiff's fall. The possibility that allegedly unreasonably dangerous stairway caused Plaintiff to fall is insufficient to establish necessary causal relationship. (CARTER and McDADE, concurring.)
