Diocese voted to end its association with Episcopal Church due to theological disagreements, and then realigned itself with another religious organization. Bank froze $3.58 million in funds it was holding for Diocese, after Church informed Bank that a disagreement had arisen over ownership of funds. Issue of disputed property can be resolved by applying neutral principles of law, in objectively examining things such as contracts, bylaws, deeds, and statutes, and without deciding religious matters involving church doctrine, policy, or practice. Evidence shows title to property lies with Diocese. (HARRIS and HOLDER WHITE, concurring.)
