Shareholder-plaintiffs' statements were sufficiently particular to notify Defendant corporation of the reason they sought access to company's books and records under section 7.75 of Business Corporation Act. Breadth of Plaintiffs' requested inspection does not necessarily mean that their purpose was improper. Having established a proper purpose, Plaintiffs were entitled to access any and all documents necessary for that inquiry.(HOWSE and LAVIN, concurring.)
