Plaintiff, a tower planner for airline, was fired after she gave a gift and a first-class upgrade (worth $7100) to a passenger without authorization. Board of IDES did not err in finding that Plaintiff was terminated for misconduct, as her actions were without management approval, and raised safety concerns when airplane weight balance differs from listed seat assignments.(GORDON and REYES, concurring.)
