Orders of Protection
Illinois Domestic Violence Act flatly prohibits mutual orders of protection, but allows for correlative orders where separate pleadings, notice and proof of abuse are provided by each party seeking an order of protection. A separate correlative order must be issued in accordance with other provisions of the Act.(NEVILLE and PIERCE, concurring.)
