In re Parentage of G.E.

Petitioner filed parentage action, seeking joint custody of parties' child. Court awarded sole custody to Respondent, and allowed her to remove child to Texas.  Court denied Respondent's motion to stay contempt proceedings as to her alleged failure to bring child to Illinois for visitation at Thanksgiving. Record is inadequate for appellate court's review, as bystander's report submitted by Respondent is not in compliance with Rule 323(c). Court erred in certifying a bystander's report, and as the bystander's report as submitted is invalid, and Respondent submitted no other substitute for a report of proceedings of hearing, record is inadequate for review, and thus judgments affirmed.(McLAREN and JORGENSEN, concurring.)
