(Court opinion corrected 2/24/14.) Counsel's 604(d) certificate, in which counsel certified that he consulted with Defendant only as to Defendant's contentions of error in the sentence, did not strictly comply with the rule. Certificate requirement of Rule is meant to enable trial court, before appeal is taken, to ensure that counsel has reviewed Defendant's claim and considered all relevant bases for motion to withdraw guilty plea or to reconsider sentence.
