In 2003, the circuit court of Cook County entered judgment in favor of plaintiff Terry Ready’s lawsuit for the wrongful-death of her husband in a workplace accident. The appellate court both affirmed and reversed portions of the suit and remanded for a new trial. This segment examines the findings in the case of Terry E. Ready v. United/Geodecke Services, Inc. from both the defense and plaintiff’s perspective through a point-counter-point discussion.
