This half-day seminar provides the latest information on the hot topics in commercial insurance and offers a close look at commercial liability coverage concerns. Topics include: commercial contracts and leases, insurance policy clauses, choice of law issues, governmental investigations coverage, policy exclusions, triggers of coverage, loss valuation, and much more! An update on recent case law is also included. The program is designed for attorneys advising/representing insurance companies, as well as policyholders regarding commercial risk, with all levels of practice experience.

This segment assists attorneys in advising clients on the various insurance clauses in commercial contracts and leases by examining the specific language of the additional insured endorsement in the Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy. Topics include: terms of contract; contractual additional insureds status v. indemnification; and contractual liability coverage in the standard CGL policy

When advising clients on clauses in insurance policies, it is important that attorneys know what coverage is available.
