Minority & Women Participation

To work to ensure the fair and adequate representation of minority and women attorneys in all aspects of bar activities and the profession. Identify and encourage minority and women attorneys who are willing to serve on committees, section councils, programs, the Board of Governors, the Assembly, and as officers of the Association. Identify the special needs of minority and women attorneys and work to meet those needs within the framework of the ISBA. Develop and implement programs to help mentor and encourage the professional development of minority and women attorneys. Encourage and expand service to the public by minority and women attorneys through the development and implementation of public service and educational programs and activities.
