ISBA CLEMeet the Agencies 2010 – Guidance on Dealing With Federal & State AgenciesPresented by the ISBA Labor and Employment Section Chicago 3 hours MCLE credit Many changes have occurred in the past two years that have substantially affected the administrative agencies that oversee and regulate areas of employment and labor law. This program provides an update on those changes. Topics include: the enforcement responsibilities of administrative agencies; U.S. Department of Labor wage and hourly investigations; Family Medical Leave Act regulation changes; recent developments at Occupational Safety & Health Administration; responding to OSHA complaints and investigations; developments at Immigration and Customs Enforcement, including I-9 audits; Illinois Department of Employment Security; Veterans Affairs rules, regulations, and litigations; and the recent developments at the National Labor Relations Board.
