ISBA Assembly Supports Prejudgment Interest
ISBA's policy-making Assembly voted Saturday, December 13, to support an Illinois legislative statute allowing prejudgment interest for successful claimants in civil cases at law. The lack of such legislative authorization has been noted by the Supreme Court of Illinois.
