Illinois State Bar Association Receives Two Awards for CLE Programs

The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) received two of only 20 awards given annually from the International Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) at the organization’s annual meeting in Boston.

Illinois State Bar Association President Felice Receives Alumnus of the Year Award

 

Richard D. Felice, a lawyer in private practice in Wheaton and president of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), received the Alumnus of the Year Award from Northern Illinois University (NIU) College of Law on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at a ceremony at the University Club of Chicago.

Karen McNulty Enright Elected Secretary of Illinois State Bar Association

Karen McNulty Enright, a resident of Elmhurst, has been elected secretary of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). She is a partner with McNabola Law Group in Chicago. Long active in the ISBA, Enright was first elected to the ISBA Board of Governors in 2010 and re- elected in 2013. She is a member of its Assembly and has been active on numerous committees. Enright received the ISBA Board of Governors Award in 2009.

Vincent F. Cornelius has been installed as second vice president of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). He previously served as third vice president and will be installed as president in June 2016-17. Cornelius is the principal of The Law Offices of Vincent F. Cornelius, with offices in Wheaton and Joliet, where he concentrates in civil and criminal litigation.

Western Springs Resident Elected Third Vice President of Illinois State Bar Association

Hon. Russell W. Hartigan, of Western Springs, a judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County, has been elected third vice president of the Illinois State Bar Association. He will serve a one-year term in each of the three vice presidential offices and become president of the 32,000-member organization in June 2017.
