WILMETTE RESIDENT AUTHORS ARTICLE IN ILLINOIS BAR JOURNAL

Charles W. Murdock, a resident of Wilmette and a professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, is author of an article, "What Every Lawyer Needs to Know About the Illinois Limited Liability Company Act." Murdock drafted the 1983 Illinois Business Corporation Act and was on the committee that drafted the Illinois modifications to the Uniform Limited Liability Company Act.

The article appears in the August 2004 issue of the Illinois Bar Journal, the monthly magazine of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA).

In the article, Murdock reviews the Illinois Limited Liability Company Act with a focus on provisions with which all lawyers should be familiar.

The 30,000-member ISBA, with offices in Springfield and Chicago, provides professional services to Illinois lawyers, and education and services to the public.
