Brigid Awards honor women for generosity, compassion
Chicago attorney Sarah Larimer Flosi, a Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation volunteer, will receive a Brigid Award from Concern Worldwide U.S. on Friday, Feb. 15, during a benefit luncheon in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Flosi, who is director of the Our Lady of Mercy Clinic at St. Clements Church, is one of three women to be honored for demonstrating justice, generosity and compassion in their lives and work.
Five other volunteers at her neighborhood clinic received Distinguished Service Awards during the annual CVLS reception on Nov. 8.
Also receiving Brigid Awards are Cook County Judge Carol A. Kelly, supervising judge of the Juvenile Justice Division, and Mary Houghton, president of the ShoreBank Corp.
