LAP lunch offers Karmeier speech

Illinois Supreme Court Justice Lloyd A. Karmeier will be keynote speaker at a Lawyers’ Assistance Program luncheon Wednesday, April 30, at Fischer’s Restaurant in Belleville.

This will be the seventh in a series of luncheons around the state to help raise awareness of LAP and its new services for lawyers, judges and law students who are impaired by substance dependencies.

Downstate associate director James Radcliffe, a retired judge, will welcome guests and invite them to visit the new LAP office in Belleville.

Attendance at the luncheon is free, but reservations must be made by calling (800) 527-1233. For more information, call Radcliffe at (618) 233-1527.
