YLD plans May bean bag event

The ISBA Young Lawyers Division will conduct a Bean Bag Tournament from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Durkin’s, a Chicago pub.

The benefit for the Children’s Assistance Program will raise funds for children’s courthouse waiting rooms. The cost is $30 per person for a wristband, plus a $40 entry fee for each two-person team (total $100).

Participants of age 21 or older may attend. Those wearing wristbands may have pizza and refreshments during the event.

Checks should be made out to IBF/YLD Children’s Assistance Fund and mailed with participants’ names to Janet Sosin at the Illinois State Bar Association, Suite 900, 20 S. Clark St., Chicago 60603. Credit card payments may be faxed to (312) 726-9071.
