Justice Ginsburg addresses women judges in ChicagoU.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be a keynote luncheon speaker when the National Association of Women Judges holds its Midwest Leadership Conference in August in Chicago. Scheduled Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 27-29, at the Hotel Inter-Continental, the conference will be attended by member of the bench, bar and academia, primarily from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. Cesario, a member of the ISBA Assembly, and Judge Jane Craney of Indiana Superior Court. Justice Ginsburg’s speech will take place during a luncheon Thursday, Aug. 28. An inaugural Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholarship will be presented to a Chicago-area law student. Chicago attorney and author Scott Turow of Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal also will speak during the conference, at which the NAWJ president, Justice Fernande Duffly of the Massachusetts Court of Appeals, will preside.
