The new second edition of the ISBA Hand-book of Illinois Administrative Law is now available from the publication department.

The 2008 update contains four major chapters that cover Rulemaking, Adjudication, Court Review of Administrative Decision, and Additional Material.

Each chapter includes subchapters on general, emergency and peremptory rulemaking, due process and ethical issues, administrative hearings, attorney fees, exhaustion, waiver, preemption, and practice and procedure.

The authors are practitioners who appear before or serve in most of the Illinois agencies, commissions and municipal entities, as well as those in the attorney general’s office and General Assembly, plus administrative law judges.

The handbook is indispensible to lawyers who practice in or review administrative law matters. Prices are $50 for ISBA members and $60 for non-members.
