Cable focus is finding lawyersA pair of ISBA cable television programs this month in Chicago are designed to help people find lawyers when needed and establish professional relationships with them. “Where to Go for Legal Assistance” and “Know Your Lawyer” are scheduled at 10 p.m. Tuesdays on Chicago Access Network channel 21. Martin Dolan is the moderator for both presentations. Panelists for “Where to Go for Legal Assistance,” scheduled July 22, are Michael G. Bergmann, director of the Public Interest Law Initiative; Lisa Colpoys, executive director of Illinois Legal Aid Online, and Catherine Schneider of the Coordinated Advice and Referral Program for Legal Services. Bergmann and Colpoys serve on the ISBA Committee on Delivery of Legal Services. Panelists for “Know Your Lawyer” on July 29 are Bergmann, who also is vice chair of the ISBA Child Law Section Council; Wendy Muchman of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, and Aurora Abella-Austriaco of Peck, Bloom, Austriaco & Mitchell, a member of the ISBA Real Estate Law Section Council.
