For the record

Judge Ronald D. Spears of Taylorville, who received an ISBA Board of Governors Award on June 27 for his work as chair of the Committee on Military Affairs, is a retired Illinois National Guard colonel. He was not a lieutenant colonel, as stated on page 6 of the June issue of the ISBA Bar News.
