Fall CLE schedule will provide ample opportunity to log creditThe countdown has begun for Illinois lawyers whose last names begin with N through Z to accumulate 20 hours of MCLE credit by June 30, 2009. Those whose names begin with A through M have until June 30, 2010, to log 24 MCLE hours (an increase from 20 in the first reporting period), and it's never too early to start. To that end, the ISBA Continuing Legal Education Department has opened its fall schedule of Law Ed programs. One summer seminar that remains, from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, is Passed the Bar; Now What? The Young Lawyers Division will conduct this program in the Chicago Regional Office. Kicking off the fall slate is the fourth annual ISBA Solo and Small Firm Conference, which will take place Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 4-6, at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles (see pages 14-15).
