Justinians to install Glorioso, honor GagliardoThe Justinian Society of Lawyers will hold its formal installation and awards banquet on Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the Palmer House Hilton, Chicago. Mauro Glorioso of Westchester, a member of the ISBA Board of Governors, will be installed as president, along with Vice Presidents Donald J. Storino II, Cristina Mungai and Katherine A. Amari; Treasurer Gregg A. Garofalo, and Secretary Dennis J. Beninato. All but Storino are members of the ISBA Assembly who also serve on various section councils and committees. The Justinians will honor a past president, Joseph M. Gagliardo, with its Award of Excellence. A former member of the ISBA Assembly and past chair of the Labor Law Section Council, he is past president of the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans and the Chicago chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Also being honored is Minnesota lawyer and former legislator Vince Lombardi Jr., who will receive the award for Outstanding Achievement in Communications. A motivational speaker like his football coach father, Lombardi has been assistant executive director of the National Football League Management Council and past president of two U.S. Football League teams. They are: Thursday, Oct. 16 – Dinner and scholarship presentations at Maggiano's Little Italy in Chicago. Thursday, Nov. 20 – Dinner and recognition of past presidents at Pompeii Restaurant in Chicago. Saturday, Dec. 6 – Christmas Mass and family day luncheon at Casa Italia in Stone Park. Friday, Dec. 12 – 5 p.m. reception during the ISBA Midyear Meeting at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel.
