Maramba heads Rotary ClubArlington Heights attorney Ignacio D. "I.D." Maramba, a member of the ISBA Committee on Military Affairs, returned from active duty recently to be sworn in as the 47th president of the Park Ridge Rotary Club. An officer in the Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, Maramba has been called up twice during the war on terrorism. He served most recently with the Army Regional Support Group West, providing legal guidance and support to a general officer command, and he has received several achievement awards. Born in Chicago, Maramba spent several childhood years in the Philippines, Taiwan, Korea and Malaysia before his family returned to the United States in 1978 and settled in Maryland. A 1993 graduate of the Loyola University School of Law, he has been active in several bar associations and was chair of the Subcommittee on the Judiciary of the Union League Club Public Affairs Committee. He joined the Park Ridge Rotary Club in 2002 and has been a director for two terms, assistant secretary and international service chair. In the community, Maramba serves on the Park Ridge Fire and Police Commission, and is chief of the Mighty Crow Tribe and incoming chief of the Park Ridge Indian Scouts Iroquois Nation.
