Ruth Ginsburg speaks during NAWJ event
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is scheduled to speak in Chicago on Thursday, Aug. 28, at a luncheon during the Midwest Leadership Conference of the National Association of Women Judges at the InterContinental Hotel.
Scheduled from Aug 17 to 19, the conference is chaired by Cook County Judges Sophia H. Hall and Cheryl D. Cesario, a member of the ISBA Assembly, and Indiana Superior Court Judge Jane Craney.
Programs include Cross-Cultural Issues in the Courts, Attrition of Women in Large Firms, Judicial Ethics in the 21st Century, and a speech by Chicago attorney and author Scott Turow.
The association's Friends Committee in Chicago is chaired by Leslie D. Davis of Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal; Kathleen L. Roach of Sidley Austin; Christina M. Tchen of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom; Linda L. Listrom of Jenner & Block, and Guy Rounsaville Jr.
