Free seminars on ADR issues being scheduled in Daley Center

The ISBA Alternative Dispute Resolution Section is a co-sponsor of a monthly series of free brown-bag luncheon seminars on Cook County Circuit Court mandatory arbitration and mediation procedures.

The programs are conducted by the Law and Chancery Divisions from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m., usually on the second Thursday of each month, in courtroom 1905 of the Richard J. Daley Center.

Future dates are Oct. 16, Nov. 13, Dec. 11 and Jan. 8. Although there is no charge to attend, reservations should be made in advance by calling Rae Ferenzi at (312) 603-6078 or Patty Formusa at (312) 793-0134.

Free electronic ADR newsletter launched

Chicago-based Resolution Systems Institute (RSI) has announced the launch of a free electronic newsletter, Court ADR Connection, that provides news and events about alternative dispute resolution programs around the country.

Content will include court rules, statutes, case law, summaries of new resources, and updates on RSI projects and publications. Funding was provided by the JAMS Foundation
