DuPage cable series funded by ISBA grant

The ISBA has allocated an affiliated bar grant of $750 to the DuPage County Bar Association toward the cost of its quarterly cable television series titled “Legal Action.”

The educational programs on legal issues for the public are disseminated simultaneously by webcast and are available on demand at the DCBA Web site and YouTube.

Current programming covers domestic violence. Previous presentations this year have been on mortgage foreclosure and on teen-age drinking and DUI.

Among participants in the mortgage foreclosure segment were ISBA Assembly members Kent A. Gaertner and Steven B. Bashaw, who also serves on the Real Estate Law Section Council.

In the teenage drinking and DUI segment, panelists included Assembly members Fred A. Spitzzeri and Donald J. Ramsell, who also is a member of the Traffic Laws and Courts Section Council.

“Legal Action” may be seen at various times on Naperville Community Television channel 17 and may be accessed at www.NCTV17.com
