ISBA leaders are listed in Law Bulletin ’40 Under 40’

Four Chicago attorneys who serve on ISBA committees and section councils are included in the listing of “40 Under Forty” in a publication of the Law Bulletin Publishing Co.

They are Pepi Camerlingo of Avery, Camerlingo & Kill; David P. Huber of The Healy Law Firm; Richard L. Miller II of Novack & Macey, and Mona M. Stone of Locke, Lord, Bissell & Liddell. Summaries follows.

Pepi Camerlingo, a member of the Committee on Bar Services and Activities, is a graduate of the DePaul University College of Law and a certified public accountant.

Chicago Magazine cited her as an Illinois Rising Star in family law. She is a volunteer tutor at the Metrio Achievement Center for Girls.

David Huber, a member of the Committee on Judicial Evaluation, is a graduate of the Loyola University School of Law.

A plaintiff personal injury trial and appeals lawyer, he serves on the board of managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

Richard Miller, a member of the Commercial, Banking and Bankruptcy Law Section Council, is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law who started practice as an assistant Champaign County state’s attorney.

Now in commercial litigation, he is an adjunct trial advocacy professor at the Northwestern University School of Law, where he conducts mock trials as part of final exams. Mona Stone, a member of the Committee on Women and the Law, is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Law and the first Indian American partner in her firm.

Her practice in business litigation, labor and employment, and antitrust law has included managing the team that represented Visa in a multi-billion-dollar case against American Express/Discover.
