The Atlanta-based firm of Constangy, Brooks & Smith announced last month that it plans to open offices in Chicago and Milwaukee.
Charles W. Pautsch, former head of the Milwaukee office of Wessels, Pautsch & Sherman, will be in charge of the new offices and the labor relations practice. Joining him are Brian G. Nuedling and Lisa A. Baiocchi from the Wessels firm.

Matthew S. McBride has been named a partner in Lashly & Baer, St. Louis, after three years with the firm. His practice involves commercial and corporate litigation in state and federal courts in Illinois and Missouri.

Krupa Shah has joined Quarles & Brady in Chicago as an associate in the Tax Group. She was a judicial clerk to Judge A. Benjamin Goldgar of U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District.
The Oak Brook firm of Sraga, Engler & Boyle and the Flossmoor firm of Hauser, Izzo, DeTella & Petrarca merged their practices on Sept. 1 and will maintain both existing offices.
The new 11-member firm, Sraga Hauser LLC, represents school districts, educational cooperatives and other entities of local government.
