New year brings new slate of seminars

When the January calendar comes into view, the focus nationally will be on the inauguration of President Barack Obama and the seating of new members of the U.S. House and Senate.

But in the Illinois legal community, in addition to a new legislative session, comparable attention will be focused on minimum continuing legal education credits for the reporting period that will end in June.

The ISBA Committee on Continuing Legal Education already has begun to obtain a schedule of Law Ed seminars that will help members compile MCLE credits during the early months of 2009.

Several spring Law Ed seminars will be presented as online webinars for the convenience of members who want to participate from their offices or homes. They are included in the following list. See pages 16 to 18 for details.
