Judge speaks at Peoria’s 101st Lincoln banquet

The Peoria County Bar Association will hold its 101st Lincoln Memorial Banquet on Thursday, Feb. 12, the 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln.

Judge Ann Claire Williams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit will be keynote speaker for the event in the Hotel Pere Marquette. A 6:30 p.m. reception will precede the 7:30 p.m. dinner and program.

The association also will recognize retiring 10th Circuit judge John A. Barra and announce the recipient of its Distinguished Community Service Award.
