Benefit funds violence shelter

A benefit for domestic violence victims at the Sojourn Shelter in Springfield will be conducted from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at The Alamo II, 115 N. Fifth St.

The Central Illinois Women’s Bar Association is sponsor of the event, which will include entertainment by “The Casenotes,” a band led by attorney Bill Sheehan.
