O’Brien to see Irish homeland
ISBA President-elect John G. O’Brien of Arlington Heights has already selected the destination for his fall presidential travel program. It’s Ireland, of course, and specifically Dublin and Killarney.
The Dublin city portion includes three nights in a charming hotel and a sightseeing tour of a cathedral, a castle and a college. Optional trips are available to Belfast and Glendalough.
A scenic transfer through County Kildare ends in Killarney, where travelers will spend four nights and tour Muckross House in the national park. Option excursions are to the Dingle Peninsula, Kinsale and Blarney, and Bantry Bay and Garinish Island.
The cost of $2,699 per person, double occupancy – if booked before May 20 - includes round-trip airfare, accommodations for seven nights, daily breakfasts and a farewell dinner. After May 20, the cost will be $2,949.
The group will leave Chicago on Friday, Sept. 18, and return Saturday, Sept. 26. Call Go Next at (800) 842-9023 for early reservations and complete details.
