Soiree is next YLD benefit

The ISBA Young Lawyers Division plans to hold a benefit Summer Soiree from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, in Preston Bradley Hall at the Chicago Cultural Center.

ISBA President Jack C. Carey will be guest of honor at the black-tie-optional event to raise funds for the YLD/Illinois Bar Foundation Children’s Assistance Fund.

A reception, buffet stations, silent auction and dancing to the music of the Monarch Orchestra are included in the ticket price of $125 per person.

Several levels of reserved preferred seating and sponsorship opportunities are available. Advertising will be accepted in the program book.

The soiree is one of several events held in recent years to support the establishment and furnishing of supervised courthouse waiting rooms for children of witnesses and litigants in legal matters.

Annual fund-raisers include a golf outing in the summer and a holiday party in December, in addition to special events such as the recent Bean Bag Tournament.
