Task force studies stimulus

Quarles & Brady last month announced the formation of a Stimulus Legislation and Opportunities Task Force to help clients evaluate and take advantage of elements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Kevin Slaughter, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, serves on the task force, along with lawyers in offices in Wisconsin, Arizona and Florida with a range of expertise.

Targeted areas of impact from stimulus funding include municipalities, construction and infrastructure, school districts, health care, energy and science projects, and tax relief for individuals and businesses.
