Bar Foundation going to bat for Cubs-Cards in St. Louis
Tickets to any baseball contest between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals can be priceless and hard to come by, especially when the game is in Busch Stadium.
The Illinois Bar Foundation is offering tickets to another episode in this historic rivalry. The date is Saturday, April 25 – an afternoon game with the first pitch at 3:10 p.m. – with choice right field seats in Red Bird Row on Level 2.
Participation in the Foundation’s annual benefit Baseball Classic requires $200 per person for the limited ducats. That includes a private party room with a ballpark hot dog and bratwurst buffet and refreshments.
Don’t procrastinate and be disappointed. Register now at www.isba.org/ibf or contact Liz Driscoll at edriscoll@isba.org or (312) 726-6072.
Proceeds will support contributions to worthwhile law-related initiatives that enhance the administration of justice and ideals of the legal profession.
This year, $400,000 in grants will be distributed, through the generosity of the bench and bar, to charitable agencies that provide legal services to the public and access to justice across the state.
The Bar Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible, and may be made to commemorate events, celebrate the achievements of colleagues, or pay tribute to those who have passed away.
The next major fund-raising event is the annual Foundation Gala, which is scheduled Friday, Oct. 16, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago.
