Cable topic is child safety

ISBA cable television presentations this month on the care of children in legal proceedings may be seen at 10 p.m. Tuesdays on Chicago Access Network channel 21.

“Creating Safe, Permanent Homes for Children” may be seen April 21. “Providing for the Children in Your Care” is scheduled April 28.

The moderator for both programs is Chicago attorney Nancy Z. Hablutzel, a member of the Child Law Section Council and the Committee on Cable Television Programming.

Panelists for the first program include Child Law Section Council secretary Christina M. Schneider of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and section council members Karen J. Bowes of Rinella & Rinella, Chicago, and Linda S. Coon of the Families’ and Children’s AIDS Network.

Also on the panel is Chicago attorney Rachel N. Toft, a member of the Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.

Bowes and Schneider are panelists for the second program, along with Richard C. Spain of Spain, Spain & Varnet, Chicago.
