Admission ceremony first, wedding ceremony next

The Illinois Supreme Court admission ceremony in Cook County on May 7 turned out to be a double celebration for two past presidents of the Justinian Society.

During the Chicago program on Navy Pier, the class of 430 admittees included Joseph Frederick Locallo III, son of Joseph F. Locallo Jr. of Amari & Locallo, and Catherine Regina Caifano, daughter of Richard B. Caifano.

Two days later, the new lawyers were married, starting professional lives as attorneys and a personal partnership as Joe and Catie Locallo.

The younger Locallo has joined his father in practice at Amari & Locallo. Catherine is an associate at Robbins, Schwartz, Nicholas, Lifton & Taylor.

Nearly as proud as the new lawyers’ parents is another past president of the Justinian Society (and the ISBA), Leonard F. Amari, who undoubtedly will make sure the couple become active in the state bar association, too.
