CLE coordinators get training; proposal deadlines set

CLE coordinators who have been appointed by chairs of ISBA section councils have been requested to attend one of two training programs that will be conducted during the 133rd Annual Meeting this month at the Abbey Resort in Wisconsin.

They will be conducted in the South Shore Room on the Waterfront Level from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27.

A member of the Committee on Continuing Legal Education will attend each section council organizational meeting to answer questions and provide guidance on developing seminar content.

The procedures and goals will be discussed by CLE director Jeanne B. Heaton during the Section and Committee Officer’s Conference at 7 a.m. Friday, June 26. For more information, contact her at jheaton@isba.org.

The committee also has called for section councils to submit proposals on the following schedule for presentations during December 2009 and all of 2010.

For December-January programs, the deadline is July 15.

For February-March programs, the deadline is Sept. 15.

For April-May programs, the deadline is Nov. 15.

For June programs, the deadline is Jan. 15.

For September programs, the deadline is March 15.

For October-November programs, the deadline is May 15.
