Marketing help is offered

Some helpful advice to new lawyers starting out, as well as experienced members of the bar who have been downsized, is being offered in a series of teleconferences on recession-related topics.

The ISBA Young Lawyers Division is a co-sponsor of the American Bar Association programs, which will be available next at 12 noon Tuesdays, June 16 and 30. They are free to ABA members and at a reduced fee for non-members.

Practical tips and strategies for succeeding in the present career climate include: marketing yourself; succeeding as a solo practitioner; adapting to the new legal environment, and stabilizing your outlook in an unstable world.

To obtain more information or to register, access www.abanet.org/cle/recoveryseries. The programs are being recorded and will be posted on the ABA Web site for those who are not able to participate at the scheduled times.
