Young, old golfers invited to YLD’s charity classic

Be sure to sign up for the ISBA Young Lawyers Division’s annual charity golf classic. You don’t have to be young, or even a good golfer.

The event is scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park, with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Registration and sponsorship details will be posted on the Web site, www.golfinvite.com/YLDgolf.

The golf outing will be preceded at 11 a.m. with a one-hour optional CLE program, “What Every Attorney Should Know About Ethics and ARDC Complaints.” The speaker is Scott Allen Kozlov, senior counsel of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.

Proceeds from the event will support the YLD/Illinois Bar Foundation Children’s Assistance Fund, which helps establish and furnish supervised courthouse waiting rooms for children of witnesses and litigants.
