Kane bar sets grant deadline

The Kane County Bar Foundation has a deadline of July 1 for grant applications that will be distributed Sept. 1. A form may be accessed at http://www.kanecountybar.org/files/KaneCountyBarFoundation RequestforFunds.

The Kane County grant program encourages and rewards cooperation and creativity among not-for-profit agencies that develop innovative resources to meet legal needs in the communities.

The competitive process considers timeliness of application, availability of funds, past grant performance, reasonableness of plans for use, and breadth of populous served.
