St. Charles

Founded in 1833, St. Charles' downtown district rises from the banks of the Fox River and provides visitors with a delightful mix of quaint shopping areas, uncommon recreational activities, savory dining experiences, plenty of beautiful scenery and some great events. On September 8th, the city will be hosting a number of fun events including the 14th Annual Prairie Days, the American Dahlia Society's 41st National Show, and the Kids Fly Day.

Fox River Valley

Fox River Valley is one of Illinois' most scenic destinations. Rent a bicycle and hop on the Fox River Trail – 32 miles featuring scenic views of local parks and forest preserves along the Fox River are just waiting to be explored. Fox River Valley is also home to Riverboat gambling and Paddlewheel Riverboat Cruises.
