Don’t miss out on this year’s premiere event for solo and small firm lawyers!

In honor of our state’s most famous small firm lawyer, Abraham Lincoln, we’ve moved this year’s conference to Springfield. Come learn how to excel in your practice and find inspiration in the same town where Lincoln practiced law.

Our programs this year are some of the best we’ve ever offered. Join us early Thursday and learn about Illinois’ new Rules of Professional Conduct or get trained to use Fastcase, ISBA’s free online legal research member benefit. Improve your memory and courtroom confidence on Friday with help from our plenary speaker, Paul Mellor.

Choose from three tracks of programming – substantive law, legal technology, and effective and ethical practice – with topics ranging from client interviews and safeguarding your network/data to how to save your client’s home and collect a judgment.

We’ll also address how to practice law in tough economic times, including how to start, organize and run your own practice; transition to solo practice and represent small business clients; and manage stress.

"A fantastic way to get MCLE credit, meet and mingle with colleagues and leave with a lot of useful, practical information for your practice."

And don’t forget Lincoln! Hear from Abraham Lincoln himself (portrayed by renowned Lincoln presenter George Buss) during our Friday luncheon program and then join us at the Old State Capital for a special program on lessons learned from Lincoln’s law practice.

It’s the only conference in Illinois dedicated to meet the needs of the solo and small firm lawyer and it only happens once a year.
