Unemployment Insurance
Finding of IDES Board of Review that hospital secretary accessed a patient's confidential hospital records outside of her job responsibilities was not contrary to manifest weight of evidence. Board's decision that secretary was ineligible for unemployment insurance benefits based on misconduct connected with her work was not clearly erroneous, as she was aware of employer's confidentiality rule and disregarded it, making her conduct willful, deliberate and potentially harmful to her employer. (STEELE and STERBA, concurring.)
