Jury verdict for Plaintiff in amount of $638,347, with $133,347 itemized for medical expenses, in medical malpractice action. Court erred in reducing jury verdict by $91,724. Section 2-1205 of Code of Civil Procedure shows reduction of judgment is not limited to benefits paid directly to plaintiff. Section 2-1205 does not allow verdict to be reduced by amount of bills which have been written off by medical providers, or which have been satisfied or value of benefit to plaintiff, but only allows verdict to be reduced by amount paid to medical providers or payable to plaintiff.(STEIGMANN and APPLETON, concurring.)
