Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Election Code
Court properly dismissed petition for judicial review of 10 separate decisions, by 4 separate electoral boards, overruling Petitioner's objections to nomination petitions of various election candidates. Petitioner failed to strictly comply with Section 10-10.1(a) of Election Code, which requires an objector to file a separate petition for judicial review from each electoral board decision that an objector wishes to appeal. A candidate who owes a debt to municipality at time they file their nomination petition is not ineligible to run for office. (HYMAN and MASON, concurring.)
