Federal Employers’ Liability Act
Plaintiff, a railroad company employee, filed Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA) claims and negligence claim, for injuries he sustained after a railway company employee dropped him off at an unlit, hazardous location, and while walking he stepped in a snow-covered hole. Jury should have been allowed to consider evidence of other available drop-off locations that Defendants had previously used, to determine whether it was reasonable for Defendants to drop Plaintiff off in the location where they did. Alternative drop-off locations are relevant under FELA. (HYMAN and MASON, concurring.)
