Maintenance
New guidelines for calculating maintenance are not applicable in proceedings to modify maintenance that was ordered before the amendment to Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act went into effect in 2015. Petition for dissolution filed in 2005, and husband was ordered, in 2007, to pay maintenance of $1300 per month. Court did not abuse its discretion in awarding permanent maintenance of $1900 per month. (CATES and OVERSTREET, concurring.)
