Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Sanctions
Court properly denied motion of Defendants for sanctions against Plaintiff, as trial court is awarded great deference in finding Plaintiff credible, and finding that Plaintiff was not responsible for defects in pleading. Court properly found that motions for sanctions of Defendants were untimely, as motion must be filed within 30 days of judgment or within 30 days of ruling on postjudgment motion. (HUTCHINSON and BURKE, concurring.)
